Don't you hate how mothers always know where everything is?
This is a common conversation in my house:
Me: Where did you put my jeans?
Mum: Uhh, in the wardrobe??
Me: I’ve already looked in there, they aren’t there
Mum: That’s where I put them
Me: You didn’t wash them didn’t you? I put them in the basket two weeks ago!!!
Mum: I’m pretty sure I put them in the wardrobe, go look again
Me: I’ve already looked in there, like, a one thousand times!
Mum: Go look again
*storms off into bedroom and searches wardrobe
Me: It’s not in here!
Mum: Okay, I’ll have a look
I stand there annoyed whilst mum searches my wardrobe
Mum: What are these? *holds up jeans for all to see*
Me: What? They weren’t in there, I swear, where did you find them *grabs for jeans*
Mum: Right where I told you I put them *shakes head and walks out of the room*
It’s so annoying and yet so effective, it’s like something that all mothers just have to have. Maybe it’s X-ray vision or because, their well, mums.

hahahaa!! my mom and i are exactly the same..just when you think ur right and she's wrong, she comes up with something..i think it's been this way since the beginning of time..

Maybe it's something in women's DNA that comes out when they give birth. Seriously my mom is like the only one that knows where anything is!!
I hate being wrong. I also hate admitting that I'm wrong so I go crazy. I'd probably throw out the conents of my wardrobe just to find my jeans!!

Haha, my mum's favorite thing to say when I couldn't find something was "Did you look UNDER anything to find it?" Invariably it would be under something else of course.
